About Maria - Director

With over 25 years of experience spanning across government and non-government sectors, Maria has demonstrated her commitment to enhancing student learning and well-being. As a seasoned teacher and leader, she has spearheaded transformative initiatives, including the implementation of additional well-being staff across NSW, the successful delivery of the Government Mental Health Election Commitment and the establishment of the Quality Assurance of External Wellbeing Programs for NSW Education.

Maria's expertise lies in student wellbeing program design and delivery, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Her transformational leadership is characterized by passion, resilience, courage, and integrity. Maria's collaborative approach, coupled with her dedication to keeping students at the center, ensures that schools receive best practice supports to create safer and more supportive environments for all students.
